Female Mental Health & Nutrition Consultation Services in Surkh Rod

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) has established Female Mental Health and Nutrition Consultation Centers in the Sarkhrood district of Nangarhar province. 

Female Mental Health and Nutrition Consultation Centers provide psychosocial support services through one-on-one as well as in group sessions by using recreational activities, such as leisure & relaxation, tea chats, and storytelling, and as well as providing life skills training including jam-making, weaving, tailoring, and painting for women and girls who are visiting Female Mental health and nutrition consultation centers.

The "Beporsed" team provides information online to those in need of humanitarian services of international organizations and, if necessary, refers the needy to the relevant departments to receive and access the services.
