Non-Formal Educational Services - Puli Alam

IRC is supporting non-formal education to establish Community Based Education classes in the most vulnerable communities of Puli Alam district in Logar province. IRC is committed to support formal education including formal schools in Logar.

About the service:

• To support girls and boys in non-formal education services, establishment of Community Based Edcuation classes in the most vulnerable communities. In the community level, Rapid Assessment will be conducted for identifying the most vulnerable villages in the communities. Based on the needs assessment, Community Classes will be established, in these classes students, teachers and classes will be supported with students kits (Lined notebooks, Drawing notebooks, Color pencil, Student Bag, Slate board, Water Bottle Students and Cloth Mask For Commumnity Based Education Students) and teacher kits (Notebook for teacher, Teacher bag, Permanent markers, Correction pen, Scientific Calculator, Disposable Protective Mask and etc.).
• To support teachers with providing teaching aids/ materials in non-formal education /Teacher Learning Spaces In the community level, based on the assessment classes are identified and teachers have been recruitment, IRC is providing supporting these teachers with providing teachers kits (Notebook for teacher, Teacher bag, Permanent markers, Correction pen, Scientific Calculator, Disposable Protective Mask and etc.).
• Provide enough support to parents and community members to engage with children's access to learning, IRC will be providing training to these community members and parents to increase children's access to learning.
