International Rescue Committee (IRC) supports the informal education of girls and boys in the Lashkargah City of Helmand province by providing school materials.
This organization conducts a special assessment to identify vulnerable villages and create classrooms and training for them. Assessment is conducted at the district level to identify schools with the highest needs for School Improvement Plan (SIP). After identifying the local educational centers, the IRC office supports its students and teachers by distributing school supplies such as lined books, drawing books, colored pencils, slates, water bottles, permanent markers, text correction pens, scientific calculators, and masks.
