Supporting Girls' and boys' formal education in the Zazi Maidan district of Khost province

About the service

International Rescue Committee (IRC) supports the formal education of girls and boys in the Zazi Maidan district of Khost province by providing school materials. This organization conducts a special assessment to identify vulnerable villages and create classrooms and training for them. Assessment is conducted at the district level to identify schools with the highest needs for School Improvement Plan (SIP).

After identifying the local educational centers, the IRC office supports its students and teachers by distributing school supplies such as lined books, drawing books, colored pencils, slates, water bottles, permanent markers, text correction pens, scientific calculators, and masks. The International Rescue Committee is determined that girls and boys have access to education, and all formal and informal sectors of education are considered as a need of society.

In addition, the program to support the education of girls and boys in the Zazi Maidan district of Khost province provides sufficient training for parents and community members to
participate in children's access to education.
